The High-level About this Position:

The Marketing Team is looking for a Senior Manager of Content & Communications to define and build our content strategy and amplify our story.

Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be an integral part of helping us share our story in this next pivotal phase of our growth. In this highly cross-functional role, you will focus on delivering impact by outlining our overall content strategy and overseeing its implementation. Because you are motivated by new forms of storytelling, you will experiment with new ways to express our brand’s mission and its impact. Your creativity and ability to inspire through content will help us grow our brand missions around sustainability.

How you’ll make loop & tie amazing:

  • Create well-researched, thoughtful content to drive traffic, engage with and convert target prospects and customers
  • Find new ways to publish sharable content like white papers, blog posts, ebooks, case studies, featured articles, press, and infographics across our brand’s social media to include white papers
  • Lead research initiatives to drive thought leadership for our impactful mission of being the most sustainable gifting platform available in the market
  • Repurpose our longform content for digestible and entertaining media for our team and our brand channels to share across our networks
  • Working alongside our Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success orgs, you’ll drive the content strategy for our digital properties including our website
  • Drive our keyword strategy and optimize our website for both search engines and the audience we serve
  • Keep up with trends and topics in the space of gifting and sustainability to ensure our thought leadership is both innovative and informative
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop and refine core messaging and positioning
  • Develop our brand’s voice and establish guidelines to ensure consistency in our tone and impact
  • Establish our earned media strategy either in partnership with a PR agency or through your own expertise and network
  • Coordinate with members of our executive team jointly produce content that establishes our differentiated approach in the market
  • Develop and maintain tools and programs like editorial calendars and content project plans to ensure cross-functional stakeholders are aligned and informed
  • Build and track benchmarks for measuring success and overall performance

How you will up-level Loop & Tie:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or writing-focused roles
  • Demonstrated excellence in written skills for both digital and print
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally to support marketing and sales
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time managements skills to drive multiple projects at once
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SEO and its impact on customer lifecycle marketing
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems like HubSpot, WordPress and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
